Apple is partnering with Alibaba to develop AI features for iPhone users in China. Initially considering Baidu, Apple also explored options from Tencent and ByteDance. Alibaba’s Qwen AI model, one of the best open-source models globally, includes Qwen2.5-Max, which outperforms competitors like DeepSeek V3 and Llama 3.1. Congratulations to Alibaba and the Qwen team.
